how to clean ge ice maker

I’m having trouble figuring out how to clean my GE ice maker. I’ve read the manual, but it’s not very clear. I’m looking for some advice on how to clean it properly. I know that it needs to be done regularly to keep it running smoothly, but I’m not sure what the best way to go about it is. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. To clean a GE Ice Maker, you should first unplug the unit from the power source. Then, remove the ice bin and discard any remaining ice. Next, you should use a mild detergent or vinegar and water solution to wipe down the interior of the ice maker. Finally, rinse the interior with warm water and allow it to air dry before plugging the unit back in.
