I have an Amana washing machine and I’m having trouble figuring out how to clean the filter. I’ve looked online and in the manual, but I’m still not sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice on how to clean the filter? I’m not sure if I should be using a special cleaner or if I should just use warm water and soap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To clean the filter on an Amana washing machine, first unplug the machine and locate the filter. Depending on the model, the filter may be located at the bottom of the machine or behind the kick panel. Once the filter is located, remove it and rinse it with cold water. Allow the filter to dry completely before replacing it.
