I have an Amana washing machine, and I’m having trouble getting it clean. I’ve tried using a scrub brush, vinegar, and baking soda, but nothing seems to be working. I’m wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks to get it clean? I’m looking for an effective and safe way to clean the barrel of my Amana washing machine. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I remember when I first got my Amana washing machine. I was so excited to have a new machine that I couldn’t wait to start using it. But after a few months, I started to notice that the barrel was getting dirty and I needed to clean it.
I started by unplugging the machine and removing the fabric softener and bleach dispensers. Then I filled the barrel with hot water and added a cup of baking soda. I let the mixture sit for about an hour and then drained it. I then filled the barrel with hot water and a cup of white vinegar and let it sit for another hour.
After the hour was up, I drained the barrel and used a soft cloth to wipe down the inside. I then filled the barrel with hot water and a cup of bleach and let it sit for 10 minutes. I drained the barrel and wiped it down again. Finally, I filled the barrel with cold water and let it sit for an hour.
