I have a Hotpoint top load washing machine and I’m not sure how to clean it. I’ve read the manual and it doesn’t seem to cover this. Does anyone have any advice on how to clean it properly? I want to make sure that I’m doing it correctly and that it is safe to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I remember the first time I had to clean my Hotpoint top load washing machine. I was a bit intimidated by the task, but I was determined to figure it out. I started by removing the detergent drawer and giving it a good scrub with a sponge and warm soapy water. I then wiped down the inside of the machine with a damp cloth to remove any residue. Next, I poured a cup of white vinegar into the detergent drawer and ran a hot cycle to help break down any built-up dirt and grime. After the cycle was finished, I wiped down the inside of the machine again, this time with a dry cloth. Finally, I replaced the detergent drawer and ran a rinse cycle with no detergent to get rid of any remaining vinegar. Now, I’m proud to say that my Hotpoint top load washing machine is clean and running like new!
