how to change water inlet valve on amana washing machine

I’m having trouble changing the water inlet valve on my Amana washing machine. I’ve looked up instructions online, but I’m still having trouble. Does anyone have any experience with this type of repair? If so, can you explain the steps I need to take to replace the valve? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
