how to change the heating element in a frigidaire dryer

I have a Frigidaire dryer and I’m trying to figure out how to change the heating element. I’ve looked online and have seen some videos and tutorials, but I’m still a bit confused. I’m not sure if I need to buy a new heating element or if I can just replace the existing one. I’m also not sure if I need any special tools or if I can just use the tools I already have. Any advice on how to change the heating element in my Frigidaire dryer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. First, unplug the dryer from the power source. Then, remove the back panel of the dryer. Next, locate the heating element and disconnect the wires from it. After that, remove the mounting screws that secure the heating element to the dryer. Finally, replace the old heating element with the new one and reinstall the mounting screws. Reconnect the wires to the new heating element, replace the back panel and plug the dryer back into the power source.
