I have a Hotpoint washer and I’m trying to figure out how to change the agitator. I’ve looked online and in the manual, but I’m still not sure how to do it. Does anyone have any experience with this and can explain the process to me? I’d really appreciate any help that I can get.

I recently had to change the agitator in my Hotpoint washer. It was a daunting task at first, but I was determined to get it done. I started by unplugging the machine and taking off the top panel. Then I unscrewed the agitator and removed it. After that, I placed the new agitator into the machine and secured it with the screws. Next, I reattached the top panel and plugged the machine back in. I was relieved to see that the agitator was working properly. I was glad that I was able to complete the job on my own. It was a great feeling of accomplishment and I was proud of myself for tackling the task. I now know that I can handle any repairs that come my way in the future.
