how to change a lightbulb inside a ge microwave

I’m having some trouble changing the lightbulb inside my GE microwave. I’ve looked up some instructions online but I’m still having trouble. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? I’m not sure what tools I need or if there are any special instructions I should be aware of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. 1. Unplug the microwave from the wall outlet.
    2. Remove the screws from the top of the microwave and take off the top panel.
    3. Locate the light bulb and unscrew it from the socket.
    4. Insert the new bulb into the socket and secure it.
    5. Replace the top panel and screws.
    6. Plug the microwave back into the wall outlet.
