I have a Frigidaire washing machine and need to take out the agitator. I have looked online and can’t seem to figure out how to do it. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? I would really appreciate any help that I can get. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to take out the screws or if there is something else that needs to be done. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. To remove the agitator from a Frigidaire washing machine, first unplug the machine from the power outlet. Then, remove the fabric softener dispenser cup, if present. Next, remove the top of the agitator by unscrewing the retaining nut. Finally, lift the agitator out of the washing machine.
