how do you change the drive shaft on a kitchenaid washing machine

I’m having trouble changing the drive shaft on my Kitchenaid washing machine. I’ve looked up how to do it online, but I’m still having trouble. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to do this? I’m hoping to get some advice from people who have done this before. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if I’m just not doing it right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I was recently faced with the task of changing the drive shaft on my KitchenAid washing machine. I had never done something like this before, and I was a bit apprehensive. I read through the instructions and watched some instructional videos online. I gathered the necessary tools and supplies and got to work.

The first step was to unplug the machine and remove the back panel. I then had to remove the belt and pulley from the drive shaft. This was a bit tricky, but I eventually got it off. I then had to carefully slide the new drive shaft into place and reattach the belt and pulley. I was careful to make sure everything was lined up correctly.

The next step was to reattach the back panel and plug the machine back in. I was relieved when it worked properly. I was so proud of myself for tackling this task and completing it successfully. I now have the confidence to tackle similar projects in the future.
