I’m having trouble removing the agitator assembly on my Hotpoint washing machine, model # vbxr1060v1aa. I have tried to remove it, but it seems to be stuck and won’t come out. I’m not sure what to do next. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the agitator assembly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had to figure out how to remove the agitator assembly on my Hotpoint washing machine model #VBXR1060V1AA. After a bit of research, I found out that I had to first unplug the machine and then remove the top panel, which was held in place by four screws. Once the top panel was removed, I was able to access the agitator assembly. I then had to disconnect the wire harness and unscrew the agitator from the base. After that, I was able to lift the assembly out of the machine. I was relieved to have the agitator assembly removed and I was able to replace it with a new one. It was a bit of a challenge, but I was able to do it with a bit of research and some patience.
