I recently bought an Amana refrigerator and I’m having trouble changing the water filter. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I’m having trouble getting the old filter out and the new one in. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this properly? I’m not very handy with appliances, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source.
2. Locate the water filter at the top right or left corner of the refrigerator.
3. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it.
4. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it is securely in place.
5. Reset the filter indicator light, if applicable.
6. Plug the refrigerator back in.
