I have a Hotpoint washing machine that is filling up with water and I’m not sure why. I’ve checked the hoses and they seem to be working properly. I’ve also checked the drain and it’s clear. I’m wondering if there is something wrong with the water inlet valve or if there is a different issue causing the water to fill up. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It all started when I was doing a load of laundry. I had just loaded the washing machine and was about to turn it on when I noticed something strange. The washing machine was filling up with water, even though I hadn’t turned it on. I was confused and a little worried, so I decided to investigate.
I opened the back of the machine and saw that the water inlet valve was stuck open. I quickly shut it off and the water stopped flowing. I then realized that the valve must have been faulty and that was why the machine was filling up with water.
I was relieved that it wasn’t anything serious, but I was still concerned about the safety of my washing machine. I called the manufacturer, Hotpoint, and they sent out a technician to replace the faulty part. After the repair, my washing machine was working perfectly again and I was able to do my laundry without any further issues.
I was thankful that Hotpoint was so responsive
