I have a Hotpoint VLSR1090G5WW washing machine and I am wondering how to clean the filter. I have never done this before and am not sure what to do. Is there a specific procedure I should follow? Are there any special tools or products I should use? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been using my Hotpoint VLSR1090G5WW washing machine for years. It’s been a reliable and efficient machine, but recently I’ve noticed that the water isn’t draining correctly. After some research, I realized that the problem was likely due to a clogged filter. Cleaning the filter was a simple process, but it was one that I had never done before.
I started by unplugging the machine and removing the lower panel. I could see the filter right away and it was clearly clogged with lint and other debris. I used a damp cloth to carefully remove the debris, then rinsed the filter with warm water. I put the filter back in place and reattached the lower panel.
The next time I ran a load of laundry, the water drained perfectly. I was relieved to have the problem fixed and I was glad that I had taken the time to learn how to clean the filter. It’s a
