I have a Hotpoint dishwasher and I’m having trouble figuring out how to drain it. I’ve looked through the manual and online but I’m still having trouble. Does anyone have any advice on how to drain my Hotpoint dishwasher? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I remember the first time I had to figure out how to drain my Hotpoint dishwasher. I was so nervous, not knowing what to do or if I would mess it up. I followed the instructions in the manual, and thankfully it was a lot easier than I had expected. I started by unplugging the dishwasher from the wall and then I opened the door. I located the drain hose and disconnected it from the dishwasher. I then placed the hose in a bucket or sink to collect the water. After that I switched the dishwasher to the drain cycle and it started draining out the water. Once the water had finished draining, I reconnected the hose and plugged the dishwasher back in. I was so relieved that I had done it correctly and that my Hotpoint dishwasher was working again.
