ge washer leaking water from bottom when filling

I have a GE washer and it is leaking water from the bottom when I fill it. I’ve checked the hoses and they seem to be connected properly, but the water is still leaking. I’m not sure what the issue is or how to fix it. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do to stop the leak? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  1. The most common cause of a GE washer leaking water from the bottom when filling is a faulty water inlet valve. The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the washing machine and can become worn out or clogged over time. If the water inlet valve is faulty, it can cause water to leak from the bottom of the washer. Other possible causes of a leaking GE washer include a cracked or damaged hose, a worn out pump, or a faulty drain valve.
