ge microwave turns on when door opens

I recently noticed that my GE microwave turns on when I open the door. This is a new problem that I’m having and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that didn’t seem to do anything. I’ve also tried resetting the clock, but that didn’t help either. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
