ge dryer squeaking when running

I recently purchased a new GE dryer and it has been squeaking when running. I’m not sure what the problem is and I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’ve checked the lint filter and the belt, but I don’t think that’s the issue. I’m wondering if it could be a bearing issue or something else. I’m not sure what to do next and would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

  1. The most likely cause of a ge dryer squeaking when running is a worn drum roller, belt, or idler pulley. Other possible causes include a worn bearing, worn glides, or a foreign object caught in the blower wheel.
