frigidaire washing machine why does it add water in spin only

I have a Frigidaire washing machine and I’m having a problem with it. During the spin cycle, it keeps adding water. I’m not sure why it’s doing this. I’ve tried adjusting the water level settings but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve also tried running a cycle without any clothes in it and the same thing happens. I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with the machine or if I’m doing something wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The water is added in spin cycle to help keep the clothes from becoming tangled and to help reduce the amount of wrinkles. The water also helps to keep the clothes from becoming too hot and to help reduce the amount of vibration from the machine.
