frigidaire washing machine front loader troubleshooting, grinding when spinning

I have a Frigidaire washing machine front loader and it is making a grinding noise when it spins. I have tried to troubleshoot the issue myself but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to fix the problem? Is it something I can do myself or do I need to call a repairman? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The most likely cause of grinding when spinning is a worn out bearing or drive belt. To diagnose the issue, you should check the bearing, drive belt, and motor for signs of wear or damage. If the bearing or drive belt is worn out, it should be replaced. If the motor is damaged, it should be replaced or serviced by a professional. Additionally, you should check the suspension system for any loose or damaged parts, and make sure the washer is level.
