electrolux refrigerator model trt15l2jw6 how to test defroster

I recently purchased an Electrolux refrigerator model TRT15L2JW6 and I’m trying to figure out how to test the defroster. I’m not sure if it’s working properly and I would like to know what steps I can take to test it. Does anyone have any advice on how to test the defroster on this particular model? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
