why does my electrolux oven says remove racks on self clean when there are none

I’m having an issue with my Electrolux oven. When I try to use the self-clean feature, it says “remove racks” even though there are no racks in the oven. I’m not sure why this is happening. I’ve tried unplugging the oven and plugging it back in, but that hasn’t helped. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks!

  1. Hello there!

I understand your confusion when your Electrolux oven says to remove racks on self clean when there are none. This is a common issue with Electrolux ovens and can be easily resolved.

First, it is important to understand why your oven is saying this. The self-cleaning feature on your oven is designed to heat up to a very high temperature in order to burn off any food or grease that may be stuck to the interior of the oven. This high temperature can cause damage to any metal racks that are inside the oven, so it is important to remove them before using the self-cleaning feature.

However, if you do not have any metal racks in your oven, then the oven should not be telling you to remove them. This could be caused by a few different things. First, it could be a malfunction in the oven’s control panel. If this is the case, then you should contact Electrolux customer service to
