I am having trouble separating the start relay from the compressor in my Electrolux refrigerator. I have tried to do it myself but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am looking for advice on how to do this properly. Does anyone have any experience with this type of repair? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, you’ll need to unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and remove the back panel. This will give you access to the compressor, which is usually located at the bottom. Once you have the compressor exposed, you’ll need to locate the start relay. This is usually a small black box that’s connected to the compressor. It should have two wires coming out of it.
