how to remove a ge spacemaker microwave

I recently purchased a GE Spacemaker microwave and I’m having trouble removing it. I’m not sure how to do it properly and I’m worried that I’ll end up damaging it in the process. Does anyone have any advice on how to safely remove it? Are there any special tools or techniques I should use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. 1. Disconnect the power source.
    2. Remove the mounting screws from the top of the cabinet.
    3. Pull the microwave away from the wall and disconnect the exhaust vent.
    4. Remove the mounting screws from the bottom of the cabinet.
    5. Carefully lift the microwave out of the cabinet and set aside.
