ge dishwasher how to unlock controls

I recently purchased a GE dishwasher and I am having trouble unlocking the controls. I have tried following the instructions in the manual, but I am still having trouble. I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and can offer some advice on how to unlock the controls. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. To unlock the controls on a GE dishwasher, press and hold the “Start/Reset” button for 3 seconds. This will reset the dishwasher and unlock the controls.
