how to replace starter switch on ge dryer

I’m having trouble replacing the starter switch on my GE dryer. I’ve looked up instructions online, but I’m still having trouble understanding the process. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this and can explain the process to me in a way that is easy to understand. I’m hoping to get some advice so I can replace the switch on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
