ge washer dryer combo where to put detergent

I’m having trouble figuring out where to put the detergent in my new washer dryer combo unit. I’ve read the instructions, but I’m still not sure if I’m supposed to put it in the washer or the dryer. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this type of appliance? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
