how to self clean ge oven

I recently bought a new GE oven and I’m having trouble figuring out how to self clean it. I’ve read the manual, but I’m still not sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice? I know that self-cleaning ovens are supposed to be easy to use, but I’m having trouble understanding the instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. To clean the oven, you will need to remove all racks and any other removable parts. Then, use a damp cloth to wipe down the interior surfaces of the oven. Next, turn on the self-cleaning cycle and let the oven heat up to a high temperature to burn off any grease and food residue. Once the cycle is complete, use a damp cloth to wipe away any ash that may have been created during the cleaning process.
