I was having trouble with my Hotpoint clothes washer recently. The dial was stuck and wouldn’t turn. After searching online for a solution, I came across a YouTube video showing how to fix the dial. The video was very helpful and easy to follow.
First, I unplugged the washer from the wall. Then, I removed the back panel of the washer. I could see the dial on the timer and the wires connected to it. I followed the instructions in the video and disconnected the wires from the timer. Then, I used a screwdriver to remove the screws that held the timer in place.
Once the timer was removed, I could see that the dial was stuck. I used a pair of pliers to loosen the dial and then reattached the wires to the timer. I then reattached the timer to the washer and plugged it back into the wall.
