I’m having an issue with my Hotpoint washer. Whenever I start the agitating cycle, I hear a grinding sound coming from the machine. I’m not sure what the issue is, but I’m hoping someone can help me figure it out. I’ve checked the belt and it seems to be in good condition, but I’m not sure what else could be causing the grinding noise. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I was so excited when I got my new Hotpoint washer. I had heard so many good things about it, and I couldn’t wait to try it out. But when I did, I was disappointed. Every time I put a load in, the machine would make a horrible grinding sound when it was agitating. I was so frustrated. I tried adjusting the settings, but nothing seemed to work. I called the customer service line, but they couldn’t help me. I was about to give up when I decided to try one last thing. I took a look inside the machine and noticed a small piece of lint had gotten stuck in the agitator. I removed it, and the grinding noise was gone! I was so relieved. I had my Hotpoint washer back, and it was working perfectly. I was so glad I didn’t give up.
