how to drain a hotpoint dishwasher

I’m having trouble draining my Hotpoint dishwasher. I’ve tried everything from running the cycle again to checking the drain hose for blockages, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice on how to drain a Hotpoint dishwasher? I’d really appreciate any help or advice that anyone can give me. Thanks in advance.

  1. I remember the first time I ever had to drain a Hotpoint dishwasher. I was so nervous and unsure of what to do. I had heard horror stories about dishwashers flooding and causing a huge mess, so I was a bit scared. After doing some research and gathering the necessary tools, I was ready to tackle the task.

The first step was to unplug the dishwasher from the wall. Then, I located the drain hose and disconnected it from the dishwasher. Next, I placed a bucket underneath the hose and opened the valve to allow the water to drain. I was relieved when the water started to flow out. I then closed the valve and reconnected the hose.

The last step was to clean the filter. I opened the filter and removed any debris, then rinsed it off with warm water. After reassembling the filter, I plugged the dishwasher back in and tested it. Thankfully, the dishwasher drained perfectly
