how to replace timer in kitchenaid washer

I recently bought a Kitchenaid washer and I’m having trouble replacing the timer. I’ve done some research and I understand the basics of the process but I’m having trouble finding the right timer for my washer. Does anyone have any advice on how to find the right timer for my washer and how to go about replacing it? I’d really appreciate any help or advice that anyone can provide.

  1. I recently had to replace the timer in my KitchenAid washer. It was a daunting task that I wasn’t sure I could do, but I was determined to try. After gathering the necessary tools, I began the process. I removed the back panel of the washer and located the timer. I disconnected the wires from the timer and then removed it from the washer. I then took the new timer and connected the wires to it. I carefully placed the timer into the washer and secured it with the screws. I then replaced the back panel and tested the washer to make sure it was working properly. I was relieved to find that the timer worked perfectly and my washer was back in business. It was a great feeling of accomplishment to have completed the task and saved myself the expense of a repairman.
