I have a KitchenAid washer that I need to take apart but I’m not sure how to do it. I’m looking for advice on how to disassemble it safely and properly. I remember the first time I had to take apart a Kitchenaid washer. It was intimidating at first, but I was determined to figure it out. I started by unplugging the machine and removing the back panel. I then unscrewed the screws that held the top panel in place and lifted it off. I then had to remove the agitator and the inner tub. I had to be careful not to damage any of the wires or hoses. Once I had the inner tub out, I was able to access the pump and motor. I unscrewed the bolts and removed the pump and motor. I then had to remove the belt and the pulley. After that, I was able to take out the transmission and the drive shaft. Finally, I had to clean all the parts and put them back together in the reverse order. It was a lot of work, but I was proud of myself for figuring it out.
