how to remove control panel kitchenaid washer khwso1pwho

I’m having trouble removing the control panel of my Kitchenaid washer, model KWHWSO1PWHO. I have tried to remove the screws that are holding it in place but it doesn’t seem to be working. Is there any other way to remove the control panel without damaging the washer? I would really appreciate any help or advice anyone can provide. Thank you!

  1. I never thought I’d be the one to figure out how to remove the control panel from my KitchenAid washer, but here I am. After a few hours of research, I finally found the answer. First, I had to unplug the washer from the wall. Then, I had to remove the screws on the back of the control panel. Once the screws were removed, I was able to lift the control panel off the washer. I then had to disconnect the wires from the back of the control panel. Finally, I was able to remove the control panel and set it aside. It was a long and tedious process, but I’m glad I was able to do it myself. Now I can replace the control panel with a new one and get my washer back up and running!
