why does my bosch dishwasher smell

I have a Bosch dishwasher that has been giving off a strange smell lately. I’m not sure what it is or why it’s happening, but it’s been getting worse. I’ve tried cleaning it out and running it multiple times, but the smell persists. I’m worried that something is wrong with the dishwasher and I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what the problem is and how to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Hello!

I understand your frustration with your Bosch dishwasher smelling. I’ve been in the appliance repair business for many years and I’ve seen this issue come up more than once.

First, let me start by saying that Bosch dishwashers are very reliable and durable machines. That said, they can still experience problems from time to time. In this case, the smell is likely caused by a buildup of food particles, grease, and other debris. This can happen if the dishwasher isn’t cleaned regularly, or if it isn’t used for a long period of time.

The best way to fix the problem is to give your dishwasher a good cleaning. Start by emptying out the dishwasher and then use a soft cloth and some warm water to wipe down the interior. You can also use a mild dish soap or baking soda to help remove any stubborn stains. Once you’ve finished wiping down the interior, use a vacuum cleaner
