what does e305 mean on a bosch oven

I’m trying to figure out what e305 means on my Bosch oven. I recently bought the oven and I’m trying to figure out what this code means so I can fix whatever issue it is. I’ve searched online and I can’t seem to find any information about the code. I’m hoping someone on this forum has seen this code before and can explain what it means and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Hello there!

Thank you for your question about the meaning of the code ‘e305’ on a Bosch oven. I’m an expert on Bosch ovens and I’m happy to help you out.

The ‘e305’ code is a common error code for Bosch ovens. It indicates that there is an issue with the oven’s temperature sensor. This sensor is responsible for measuring the temperature inside the oven and sending the information to the oven’s control board. If the sensor is malfunctioning, the oven won’t be able to accurately measure the temperature and will display the ‘e305’ error code.

The best way to fix this issue is to replace the temperature sensor. This is a relatively simple task and can be done with a few basic tools. First, you’ll need to unplug the oven from the power source and remove the back panel. Next, you’ll need to locate the temperature sensor, which is usually located near the back
