I have an Amana washing machine and recently I’ve noticed a code 3e on the display. I’m not sure what this code means and I’m hoping someone can help me out. Can anyone explain what this code means and what I should do to fix the issue? I’d really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

I remember when my family moved into our new home. We were so excited to finally have a place of our own. As we unpacked and settled in, we realized that our washing machine was not working properly. We called a repairman to come and take a look. After some investigation, he told us that the code 3e was flashing on the Amana washing machine. He explained that this code meant that the door was not locking properly. He showed us how to adjust the latch so that it would lock properly. We were so relieved that the problem was an easy fix. We thanked the repairman and he went on his way. We were so thankful to have our washing machine working again. It was a reminder to us that sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.
