new amana washing machine is not spinning and draining the clothes out what’s wrong how do i fix

I recently purchased a new Amana washing machine and am having some issues with it. After the cycle is complete, the machine is not spinning and draining the clothes out. I’m not sure what the problem is and I’m hoping someone in this forum can help me figure out how to fix it. I’m not very knowledgeable on the workings of a washing machine, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve checked the manual and tried a few of the troubleshooting tips, but nothing seems to be working. I’m not sure if something is wrong with the machine itself or if I’m just not doing something correctly. I would really like to get this issue resolved as soon as possible, so any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Finally, I checked the belt that connects the motor to the drum. It was loose, so I tightened it. I then ran a test cycle to make sure everything was working properly. It was!

I’m so relieved that I was able to figure out the problem and get my
