I recently purchased a new Amana washing machine and am having some issues with it. After the cycle is complete, the machine is not spinning and draining the clothes out. I started by checking the hoses to make sure they were connected properly and that there were no kinks or blockages. All seemed to be in order. I then checked the filter to make sure it was clean and free of lint or other debris. It was clean.
Next, I checked the settings on the machine. I made sure the spin cycle was set to the correct speed and that the drain cycle was set to the correct time. Everything seemed to be in order.
Finally, I checked the belt that connects the motor to the drum. It was loose, so I tightened it. I then ran a test cycle to make sure everything was working properly. It was!
