I recently purchased an Amana refrigerator and am having trouble resetting the water filter light. I’ve read the manual and followed the instructions, but the light won’t reset. I’ve also tried unplugging the refrigerator and plugging it back in, but that hasn’t worked either. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset the water filter light on an Amana refrigerator? I recently had to reset the water filter light on my Amana refrigerator. It was a bit of a process, but I was able to figure it out. First, I had to locate the reset button on the front of the refrigerator, which was located on the bottom right side. Then, I had to press and hold the button for three seconds. After that, the light should have gone off, indicating that the filter had been reset. However, the light stayed on. I had to press and hold the button again for another three seconds, and this time the light went off. I was relieved that I was able to reset the filter light without having to call a technician. It was a great feeling to be able to do it myself and save some money!
