I’m having trouble resetting my top-load Amana washing machine. I have tried unplugging it, waiting a few minutes, and then plugging it back in, but that didn’t seem to do anything. I have also tried resetting the settings, but that didn’t work either. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset my Amana washing machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had to reset my Amana top-load washing machine. It was a bit of a process, but I was able to figure it out with a bit of help. First, I unplugged the machine from the wall outlet and waited for about 10 minutes. After that, I plugged it back in and held down the start button for about 3-4 seconds. The machine began to beep and then the lights on the control panel lit up. I then had to press the start button again and hold it for about 3-4 seconds. This reset the machine and it was ready to use again. I was glad I was able to figure out how to reset it on my own. It was a great feeling to know that I could fix something without having to call a technician.
