I have a Frigidaire washing machine, model FTF530FS1, and I’m having trouble replacing the inner bearing. I’m not sure what tools I need, or what steps I should take to do the job correctly. I’d really appreciate any advice or tips that anyone has to offer. What tools do I need? What steps should I take to make sure the job is done right? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
To replace the inner bearing of a Frigidaire FTF530FS1 washing machine, you will need to remove the outer tub and the drive pulley. Once the outer tub is removed, you will need to use a bearing puller to remove the old bearing. Once the old bearing is removed, you can insert the new bearing and secure it with a bearing retainer. Finally, you will need to re-install the outer tub and the drive pulley.
