I have an Amana washing machine and the magnetic lock on the door is not working. I have tried to repair it myself but I am having difficulty figuring out what the problem is. Does anyone have any advice on how to repair the magnetic lock? I would really appreciate any help or advice that anyone can offer.

There are several steps to repairing a magnetic lock on an Amana washing machine.
1. Unplug the washing machine from the power source.
2. Remove the top panel of the washing machine to access the lock assembly.
3. Inspect the lock assembly for any visible damage or corrosion.
4. Clean the lock assembly with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.
