I’m having a hard time removing a motor mount screw on my Frigidaire front-loading washing machine. I’ve tried using a screwdriver and pliers but it’s still stuck. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this and can offer any advice on how to get it out. I’m worried that if I use too much force, I might damage the machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1. Use a right-angle screwdriver or an offset screwdriver to access the screw.
2. If the screw is stuck, use a lubricant such as WD-40 or a penetrating oil to loosen it.
3. If the screw is still stuck, use a pair of pliers or a vise grip to grip the head of the screw and turn it counterclockwise.
4. If the screw is still stuck, try heating the screw with a heat gun or a blowtorch to loosen it.
5. If all else fails, drill out the screw and replace it with a new one.
