how to manually defrost a frigidaire refrigerator

I recently bought a Frigidaire refrigerator and I’m having trouble figuring out how to manually defrost it. I’ve read the manual and it seems like it should be a simple process, but I’m not sure what to do. I’ve tried unplugging the refrigerator and leaving it off for a few hours, but that didn’t seem to work. Is there any other way to manually defrost my refrigerator? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

  1. To manually defrost a Frigidaire refrigerator, you will need to unplug the fridge and remove all food items. Then, locate the drain pan, usually located at the bottom of the fridge. Empty the water from the drain pan and use a hair dryer or a fan to help melt the ice. Once the ice is melted, use a cloth to wipe away any remaining water. Finally, plug the refrigerator back in and replace the food items.
