I’m having trouble lighting my Amana gas oven. I’ve tried following the instructions in the manual, but I still can’t seem to get it to work. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if I’m doing something wrong. I’m hoping someone can help me out and explain how to light my Amana gas oven. I’d really appreciate any advice or tips that anyone can offer. Thank you!

I’ve been lighting my Amana gas oven for years now. It’s a simple process, but one that must be done with caution. First, I make sure the oven is off and the gas is shut off. Then, I open the oven door, and locate the pilot light. I use a long kitchen match, and carefully light the pilot light. I hold the match in place until the flame ignites, and then I slowly release the match. I make sure to keep my face away from the oven, and never leave the match unattended. After the pilot light is lit, I close the oven door and turn the gas on. I then turn the oven knob to the desired temperature and wait for the oven to heat up. Lighting my Amana gas oven is a simple process, but one that must be done with caution.
