I recently bought an Amana top load washing machine and I’m having trouble figuring out how to install the pressure switch. I’ve looked online and read the instructions, but I’m still having trouble understanding the process. Does anyone have any experience with this and can explain how to install the pressure switch? I recently had to install a pressure switch on an Amana top-load washing machine. It was a daunting task at first, but I was determined to get it done. I started by gathering the necessary tools and parts, which included a flat-head screwdriver, a Phillips-head screwdriver, a pair of needle-nose pliers, and the pressure switch.
Once I had everything ready, I began by unplugging the washing machine from the wall. I then removed the back panel of the machine to access the pressure switch. I used the flat-head screwdriver to remove the mounting screws, then used the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the electrical connections. I then used the needle-nose pliers to remove the old pressure switch and replace it with the new one.
The next step was to reattach the electrical connections and mounting screws. I then plugged the machine back in and tested it to make sure the pressure switch
