I have an Amana top loader washing machine and the rear drum is not spinning properly. I’m not sure what the issue is, but it’s making a lot of noise and not spinning like it should. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice or tips on how to fix this problem. I’ve tried cleaning out the lint trap and checking the belt, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My Amana top loader washing machine was giving me trouble. I had to do something about it, so I decided to take a look at the rear drum. After some research, I found out that the problem was likely due to a broken belt or a worn-out bearing. To fix it, I had to take off the back panel and locate the belt and bearing. I then had to remove the belt and replace it with a new one. After that, I had to replace the bearing. The process was a bit tricky, but I was able to get it done with some help from a friend. After I was done, I put the back panel back on and tested the washing machine. It worked perfectly! I was so relieved that I was able to fix the problem on my own. I’m glad I took the time to research and do the repair myself. It was a great learning experience and I’m glad I was able to get my Amana top loader washing machine working
