I have an Amana washing machine that has a rear drum issue. I’m not sure what the problem is, but it’s making a loud noise when I turn it on. I’ve tried to take it apart and look at the parts, but I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Is there any way to fix the rear drum issue without having to take it to a repair shop? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
I had been dealing with a broken Amana washing machine for weeks. The rear drum had stopped spinning, making it impossible to do any laundry. I had tried everything I could think of to fix it, but nothing seemed to work.
Finally, I decided to take the machine apart and see what was going on. After taking off the back panel, I noticed that the belt had come loose and was no longer connected to the motor. I reattached the belt and tightened it up, then put the back panel back on.
When I tried the machine again, it worked! The rear drum was spinning and the laundry was getting clean. I was so relieved to have the machine fixed and to be able to do my laundry again.
This experience taught me that sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. Even when something seems too complicated to fix, it’s worth taking the time to investigate and see if you can find the problem.
