I have an Amana washing machine and I’m having trouble draining the water from it. I’ve tried unplugging it and checking the hoses to make sure they aren’t clogged, but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to drain the water from my Amana washing machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had a problem with my Amana washing machine the other day. It was full of water and wouldn’t drain. I was worried I’d have to call a repairman, but I decided to try and figure it out myself.
I started by turning off the water supply to the washing machine. Then I unplugged the machine and removed the hoses from the back. I used a wet/dry vacuum to suck out all the water that was left in the machine.
Next, I checked the drain pump filter. It was clogged with lint and other debris. I cleaned it out and then reattached the hoses. I plugged the machine back in and turned the water supply back on.
Finally, I ran a cycle on the washing machine to make sure it was draining properly. It worked! I was so relieved that I was able to figure out the problem on my own. It was a great feeling to have saved myself a repair
