I recently purchased an Amana dishwasher and I’m having trouble figuring out how to drain it. I’ve looked through the manual but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. I’m hoping someone can provide me with some advice on how to drain it. I’m concerned that if I don’t drain it properly, I may end up damaging the dishwasher. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
I remember the first time I had to drain my Amana dishwasher. I was so nervous, but I knew I had to do it. I started by unplugging the dishwasher. Then, I removed the kick plate and the lower access panel. I located the drain hose, which was connected to the garbage disposal. I disconnected the hose, and then I used a bucket to catch the water. I drained the water out, and then I reconnected the hose. I put the access panel and kick plate back in place, and then I plugged the dishwasher back in. I ran a cycle to make sure everything was working properly. I was so relieved that I was able to drain my Amana dishwasher without any issues. I felt so proud of myself for figuring it out. Now, I know how to drain my Amana dishwasher and I can do it without any help.
